EXPLODING BOX "DELFINA"

by - enero 23, 2020

Hello there!!! In my second post of the year I share you an exploding box for gaving gifts what I made for the Baptism of a baby girl. I gave the elaboration of these boxes (21 in total) for my friend. The box has the particularity of what we can make this without specific scrapbooking supplies...

The box is cubic and each of the sides is 3 inches (7,6 cm).

The base is decorated with white pearl paper. I embossed little dots with an embossing folder.

The lid is decorated with a design paper. I made the edges with an edge punch and for the bow I used organza ribbon (I love this ribbon 😊).

The desing paper is double side so I used back side for decorated the inside of the box.

My friend solicited me simple inner surfaces. One for the information of the event and other for putting a small photo of cute Delfina. The doilies are made with a lilac pearl paper and with a corner punch! And with lof of patient... 😉

Inside the box there is a lovely pram. I used the same white pearl paper for decorating it and I advantaged the design paper scraps which had remained...

For making the pram I used circle punches and two new edge punches. For the lateral sides  I used a Lawn Fawn Scallop Die.

The pram is a box too...

It's stable (we must paste correctly the wheels) and it's not attached to the base because  we can decore our home with this lovely pram.

I made 21 boxes. Sorry for the quality of the image...

¿Do you like make exploding box? I love make gift boxes. I want do a tutorial video. Thank you so much for stopping by! Hugs!!! 😊

"And John declared, 'I saw the Spirit come down on him like a dove from heaven and rest on him. I did not know him myself, but he who sent me to baptise with water had said to me, "The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and rest is the one who is to baptise with the Holy Spirit." I have seen and I testify that he is the Chosen One of God.'"

John 1, 32-34 (Fragment of the last Sunday Mass Gospel)

I apologize for my English, it's basic. But I want to share my works with you (and with love).
