Hello! 😃 Happy Easter! During this Easter season, I thank the Lord Jesus for all his love💗. Today I share with you this crochet tablemat, placemat or sousplat filled with beautiful daisies.🌼🌼🌼.
My special fondness for daisies began in May 2019, when, during a spiritual retreat where I was serving, I didn't want to leave the Lord without some beautiful flowers. Here, it's autumn in May and it's cold. I was able to buy a bouquet and some lovely flowers arrived at my home, among them daisies 🌼🌼🌼.
Once the retreat ended, I brought some of them home and put them in a jar of water on a table inside, completely unaware of their care needs. After a month, to my surprise, their leaves were dry but they still hadn't wilted. So, I took pictures of them...
And they lasted from that autumnal May until spring, through the entire winter. Since then, they've been one of my favorite flowers. They remind me of how God thanked me for my service, His love for us, and the joy they brought to my home. But I never imagined that the Lord doesn't measure His love, because at that 2019 retreat was the one who, years later, would become my life partner 💗.
I'm currently enjoying making various crocheted decorations and accessories in white and yellow. In this case, I'm sharing a placemat, table mat or sousplat. It's made with cotton yarn from the Apukay brand, and each flower is crocheted separately and then sewn together. I hope you like it. Blessings! 😘
