Loves Me, Loves Me Not...
Hi guys! Today I'm sharing these beautiful coasters to brighten up any table 🌼. They also coordinate perfectly with the Crochet Table Mat "Daisies", which I shared last April. They're made with yellow and white cotton yarn.
And here as a surprise, I'm giving away the pattern so you can make them 😉:
The trebles (double crochet) took me back to my childhood, and in my memories, the game "Loves me, loves me not..." also appeared. Its original name is French: "Effeuiller la marguerite," and one of the earliest mentions of a similar practice can be traced back to medieval times, where young women would pluck petals from flowers, often daisies, while reciting the hopeful question of their beloved's affection 💗. I love art because it connects us to the innocence of our childhood.
