Playing with watercolour pencils...
Hi guys! This week is dedicated to the cards, and we continue with the baby theme on my blog... It´s so beautiful to make super cute projects 😅.
It was the first time I painted with watercolour pencils and one of the things that was most dificult for me was regulating the amount of water. That's why the vellum got a little wrinkled.
But the most important thing was to enjoy the process and to learned new things.
As always, when I start a new technique, I usually don't have the proper tools. In this case, the watercolour pencils are not professional (the box contains 24 colours) and I used a school brush 😅.
The edges are decorated with techniques typical of Tarjetería Española, for which it I used a non-writing pen and a sewing needle. Yes, only those materials. The pen for embossing and the needle for punching and cutting the edges. Since my childhood I remember feeling so happy making these kinds of cards with my "red fingers" for using the needle without any "handle" 😅.
Making tags and cards were certainly my beginnings in the world of paper. So I decided to look my vellum cards in my parents' house for sharing them here little by little, because I've a lot of cards.
I decided not to add the sentiment to it and I also made another card with other super cute image. You can see it in detail in my next post 😉.
